E-Series Keyfob (TX-E101)
1.
Use the key to press in the tab at the top of the device.
2.
Slide off the metal top.
3.
Place the key in the notches on the top corners of the device and pry open the cover (easiest if you twist the key).
4.
Remove the plastic cover and gently remove the circuit board from the rubber cover.
5.
Gently remove the battery.
6.
Note the battery terminals (+, -). Putting in a battery reversed can damage the device.
7.
Place a new battery in the device (CR2032).
8.
Place the rubber cover back on the circuit board, ensuring the corners match up, and place it back in the front half of the plastic cover.
9.
Place the back half of the plastic cover back on the device and press in until you hear a click.
10.
Slide the metal top back on to the device and press it in place.
