Glass Guard (60-462-10-319.5)
Read before changing batteries!
Before changing batteries, please call the monitoring station and ask them to put your system on test. For this, you will need your account information.
Please note that putting your batteries in backwards may damage the device. Remember to note the battery terminals.
You will need a 1/2 AA Battery
1.
You do not need to remove the glass guard to change the battery. Squeeze the cover at the top and pull it off of the base.
2.
Locate the battery.
3.
Gently remove the batteries.
4.
Note the battery terminals (+, -). Putting in a battery reversed can damage the device.
5.
Place a new battery in the device (1/2AA).
6.
Ensuring the hook goes in first, replace the cover on the device.
7.
Press in until you hear a click.
